Events

The Final Conference of the PRIN 2022 research project Geolit will take place on January 22nd at Sapienza University, Rome. The event will present the main results of the project, including recently published books and collective volumes, alongside other key research outputs developed over the course of the project. In addition, the conference will highlight ongoing work and future developments building on the project’s findings, offering fresh perspectives on current research directions and collaborations. The conference will bring together project members and invited scholars to reflect on outcomes and next steps.

The PRIN group ‘A Physical Geography of German Literature’ www.geolit.it will present the prototype of the digital platform ‘GeoLit’ at the 3rd International Conference on the History and Culture of Bukovina: Regional and Global Interconnections Bukovina Institute, 3-4 December 2025 - Augsburg.

The conference Nature Writings. Literature, Art, Philosophy, organised as part of the PRIN PNRR 2022 project “Eco-writings. Geography, Environment and Resilience in German Literature”, is intended as an opportunity for reflection and dialogical research between different disciplinary horizons in which the relationship between subject and environment is rethought from a non-anthropocentric perspective. This reflection will then serve to prepare complex methodological tools to tackle the study of literary texts that from a cognitive, aesthetic, formal or structural point of view envisage non-anthropocentric declinations of the relationship between human beings and nature.
